Het De Brouckèreplein is momenteel een steenvlakte. Een simpele oplossing is het plaatsen van mobile planten/boombakken, zo wordt het plein als ontmoetingsplaats een stuk aangenamer, hittebestendiger en blijft het beschikbaar voor evenementen.
